CCR Question 1

How do your products represent social groups or issues?

Our products represent a bond between two siblings, two brothers. A bond that lasts forever. Their relationship is like no other. They grew up together, filled with lifelong memories and within moments, that is taken away from them—a death. In memory of his brother that passed, the other brother sings a song that represents his story, his loss that deeply feels endlessly.

We targeted death as our social issue. Death is the irreversible cessation that everyone goes through whether it’s someone else's or their own. Through our music video, we were able to show emotions and display their connection with each other. Even when you’re alone, the presence of your loved one can be felt. Together when apart. Through this, we also challenged gender stereotypes of men. Men are typically seen as people that suppress their emotions and tend to turn their emotions off. However, in our music promotion package, we made sure to keep the aspect of loss and sorrow. Although the brother isn’t physically crying, we tried to capture the emotions of emptiness and loneliness.
